The first hour of this session was 13:00 - 14:00: Writing journal articles workshop series. Session 2: Drafting your introduction and literature review

This workshop was the second in a series of five workshop sessions led by Professor Vikki Boliver and Dr Clare Gartland. The workshops support NERUPI members in sharing and disseminating their research and evaluation around their vital work in WP and social justice. Participants have the opportunity to publish their work in a special edition of Perspectives: Policy and Practice in Higher Education.

The aim of the workshop sessions is to demystify journal article writing and support participants in producing publishable academic articles. This session was focussed on drafting introduction and literature review sections. This workshop session was only open to participants who had already submitted abstracts.

If you missed out this time, don’t worry you will have the opportunity to join next year when we will run the workshop sessions again.

The second part of the session was from 14:00 - 15:00: Writing time

The workshop was followed by a scheduled one hour session where participants of the workshop series discussed their plans and progressed their writing.
