For teachers curriculum and pedagogy is a key focus of their work. Outreach, careers and other professionals may not always think of their activities in these terms but in fact they plan content underpinned by expert knowledge - essentially a curriculum - giving thought to how this content will be delivered most effectively for the participants - essentially pedagogy.

Through presentation and practical groupwork activities, this workshop aimed to encourage members to explore what the access and participation curriculum is and which pedagogical approaches best facilitate learning.
