This session will give participants the opportunity to develop their evaluation strategy utilising the mixed method approach favoured by the Office for Students. Dr Andrew Bengry, Bath Spa University, will outline the mixed methods approach and ways it has been used by researchers and evaluators. Annette Hayton, NERUPI Convenor, will discuss how the WP data currently collected by HEIs can be combined into a mixed methods approach that supports a theory of change model and how the NERUPI Framework can support this. Dr Anna Anthony, Data Analyst, HEAT, will explain how HEAT can contribute to a mixed methods analysis and how it can relate to other key data sets.

The venue itself is in a secure building which does not have access to the general public. However, please be aware that it is in a central London location, close to Trafalgar Square and Parliament. Although we are not aware of any public protest events, demonstrations or marches scheduled for the event date, there is always the possibility of such activity on the streets nearby. Please therefore take this into consideration when planning your route to the event. We will update you by email to notify you of any planned public protests nearby and may, on very rare occasions, take the decision to cancel the event at short notice.
