The Post-Covid Shift to Digital Learning & Teaching - A Review of Practice

In June 2020, the Secretary of State for Education commissioned Office for Students chair, Sir Michael Barber, to conduct a review of the shift toward digital teaching and learning in English higher education since the start of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The first national lockdown in March 2020 sparked a rush of activity in many universities and colleges to transition from in-person teaching to online delivery, often in exciting and creative ways. This OfS report includes key findings from the review, recommendations and selected case studies:

Our upcoming March event will explore what we have learned and what we can do to engage students online: event: engaging learners in online delivery. Members can also access relevant talks from past events by Diana Laurillard and others at the NERUPI convention 2020 and our first online engagement workshop run in January.
